Bobby enjoys story time with his dad.

Bobby Dog and the Flying Frog is a children's book
about an adorable Jack Russell Terrier who goes on
an adventure in a tiny helicopter-like craft called a
gyroplane. This tail (ahem, tale) is based very
loosely on a true story.
Bobby Sager lives in Ontario, Canada with his people
Mr. and Mrs. Sager. Mr. Sager, an avid pilot whose
friends call him Roy, built a gyroplane one winter in
his garage.
When the spring time came and the snow melted
away, Roy was ready to try out his home-built craft
but he needed a co-pilot. Bobby volunteered for the
job. They have been seen together often in the
skies near their hometown, buzzing neighbors'
houses and saying hello. That, my friends, is where
the truth ends...and the imagination begins.
Children will not be able to put down this beautifully
illustrated book (thanks to Cari Fuller!) full of bright
colors and eye-popping animated characters. In a
unique approach to storytelling, photographs of the
very spunky Bobby are incorporated into the brilliant
scenery alongside cartoon creatures and people.
The tale of Bobby Dog and the Flying Frog is packed
with rhyme and rhythm as it describes the
adventures of the lovable pooch on board his dad's
miniature helicopter. Unfortunately, Bobby Dog is
forced to leave behind his friend Lollygog. She is a
slippery little tadpole and Bobby Dog knows his
pollywog pal would not be able to remain buckled in.
During his travels Bobby Dog encounters characters
like: a fishing polar bear named Patti; Mary Malarkey,
who's missing one ski; and two turtles in a foot race.
But when Bobby Dog returns from his fascinating
journey he is unable to share his stories with
Lollygog because he can't find her! What has
happened to his young playmate? Read Bobby Dog
and The Flying Frog to find out.
